	UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE - DISTRICT 23 Alcee L. Hasting represents his native state of Florida by serving as Congressman for District 23, which includes parts of Broward, Palm Beach, Hendry, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties. Congressman Hasting serves on the Committee on Rules, Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, Legislative and Budget Process, and Florida Congressional Delegation.

	STATE ATTORNEY - 17TH CIRCUIT Under the Consitution of the State of Florida, the State Attorney is charged with being the chief prosecuting officer of all criminal trial courts in his or her respective circuit and shall perform all other duties prescribed by general law. The State Attorney is required to provide personnel and procedures for the orderly, effcient and effective investigation, intake and processing of all felony, misdemeanor, criminal traffic, juvenile and specially enumerated civil cases referred by law enforcement, other states, county, and municipal agencies as well as the general public.
